LOUISIANA GOVERNOR CALLS FOR DAY OF PRAYER

I'm sure that everyone knows that the governor of Louisiana has requested Wednesday to be a day of prayer for the region. "I have declared August 31, 2005, a Day of Prayer in the State of Louisiana. I am asking that all of Louisiana take some time Wednesday to pray. Pray for the victims and the rescuers. Please pray that God give us all the physical and spiritual strength to work through this crisis and rebuild."
This is an alert for the Body of Christ to pray based on Governor Blanco's request with these specific points. Also, pray for the nation and the protection of our borders at this time of crisis. Pray against any attempts by terrorists, etc. that would attempt to hit us elsewhere, as our attention and resources are directed towards assisting New Orleans and the region.
